Finally a company in NorCal offering this service! Will be setting up an appointment shortly. What are the options for engine mounts? Not looking for solid mounts but not sure of other options.

We can do any engine mount you like. I have the Vibra-Technic road mounts on my personal car and they are fantastic

I will do a little more research but what is the typical life span of a stock engine mount? I'm at about 35k miles on the M3 right now.

Life span depends on usage of the car, how hard you drive, supercharged, etc. Most last until around 50-60k. People usually get them done at the same time as rod bearings because it will save you money on labor.

Sonics MS did a great job on my car. Anmol is great to deal with and so were the others I talked to. Ran into a small issue where their tech who runs the alignment rack was off due to emergencies, so I had to go get the alignment done elsewhere and was reimbursed by Sonics. Overall, a great experience and I can finally stop worrying about the bearings.
Thanks!

Is it easy to do a spark plug change when swapping the bearings out?

The bearing job is done from underneath the car, so spark plugs would be a separate job.

I also want to vouch for the work Sonic has done on my car! From the bearings to an alignment with perfect fitment, Andrew & Anmol have exceeded my expectations.

Thanks guys!
