Truly is the best car I’ve owned and my dream car. I really don’t want to sell, but need a bigger car for the baby.
I told my wife (who’s very supportive and knows I love the car) that perhaps later in life when the stars align, I can come back to a M car. |

I have two daughters and my M was sufficient driving them around in child seats. It sounds like you are thinking about your family first as you should but it can work. Camping, fun trips and whatever was totally doable. The only time I would use my truck would be for off-road camping. Family comes first but from one dad to a new dad, you deserve to have a car you want. Only my opinion however. Also the leather cleans up easily after the Cheerios, gold fish or occasional milkshake spill. Enjoy that family dad!

OP, keep the car! I’m speaking from experience and just want to share with you. I had an e92, albeit a short period of time but sold it last month and really miss driving it. My wife and I are expecting our 2nd child and just wanted to make some room. Didn’t have to sell it but decided to “test the waters” and see what might happen. Also owned a F82 which I sold 2 months prior, but had no problems letting go. After numerous inquiries regarding the e92, I sold it thinking I’ll get another M one day. I really miss driving the e92 and I realize after driving around all day in my work SUV and hauling the family around in our minivan, I just want some one on one time with the e92, especially now that the weather is warming up here. Good luck OP, I’m sure it’ll sell quick, beautiful car!
As im writing this, I’m not sure why I’m not trying this buy this car from you…lol |

Thanks guys. Will be buying a Land Cruiser and embracing the dad life. I’d love to keep her, but don’t have the garage space at the moment =/

20 years ago my wife and I had our first child. I turned in my 911 that year because the lease was up and we needed a family hauler. Spent the last 20 years raising a son and daughter, driving SUV’s and mini vans while continuously longing for “THAT” car. Last June I picked up a G87, last week I purchased a GT 4. It may be a long road but the time will come for you. Not to mention, the best part of owning these cars now is that I can enjoy them with my adult children.

GLWS. I had a 2dr convertible and my wife asked me to get a responsible family car, so I showed up with a ZCP manual M3 . It has worked for 8+ years, 2 kids, 30+ track days. For those on the fence about selling, this car can do it all!
Bump for OP. Nice clean car that deserves to be driven. |
