They had a break-in last fall, resulting in pretty much anything of value being stolen. My car was there and my supercharger kit was stolen, as well as my key.

I recall an e92 M3 on a lift there getting new suspension, that was also stolen.

I also recall them building a stroker motor for someone else.

They ended up closing up shop in January, and I sent them receipts for all of my parts but never heard back about their insurance policy and the owner no longer replies.

My insurance doesn't cover aftermarket parts unfortunately, but wanted to check with the local community on if they ever heard any other rumors or if other customers were made whole.

I'm not anticipating any compensation at this point, more just curiosity on what happened to others. This post is just to help me stop thinking about it at times

I kind of always wondered what ended up happening with Ian. He seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. Guess he didn't move to Las Vegas or maybe he did?

That was his plan before the break-in, but who knows.

If you have Homeowner's or Renter's insurance, you might be able to get the supercharger replaced as personal property having been stolen.

interested in the outcome. i would think that his insurance would cover this sort of stuff or like you said it falls in our insurance?

A track friend lost the stroker motor you are referring to, and basically had to just eat it. He couldn’t find Ian and even hired a private investigator too. Pretty crazy. If you really need to find him though, I’m sure you can find his info via his name on the internet.

Wow, I'm sure a lot of money tied up in that stroker build. Sorry for your friend.

I'm only out about $7k (and ended up upgrading to the ESS G1 kit)

My new forged 4.1L motor is being installed with the G1 at another shop right now.

Yea that really sucks for you guys. I’m sorry you were dealt a big blow as well.
