Engine feels rough/vibration after new plugs.

So I just did my spark plugs and everything went fine. Fired up no problem and ran fine up to operating temperature. Felt like it was running better actually. Once it was warm I hammered it through first gear and then started to feel a vibration in the seat. When I'm parked and rev it I can feel it. Feels very rough.

I did have a torque wrench blow up on me on the passenger side and some pieces of it fell down into the bay.

Any ideas?

Torque wrench blew up? Please explain. If one of your coils wasn't pushed down all the way your car would throw a code and tell you. Is it running fine but you have a vibration? My guess is whatever broke off on your wrench is causing the problem

I was trying to push the torque wrench into a position to pull it and the part that connects to the socket and all the internals behind that busted out of it, on the passenger side. No plugs were out at that time so nothing could of fell into a spark plug hole. It was running great. Still seems to run fine with a hard vibration.

These are the plugs.

I was under the impression they are pre-gapped.

If you already torque the spark plugs to spec, I have a feeling your coils are not push all the way down yet.

I made sure to push them in all the way. It's weird it happened after heavy acceleration.

Maybe reinstall the old plugs and see what happens.

Problem fixed! Just so happens the square socket piece that fell in the bay had gotten lodged in between the subframe and oil pan when I womped on it. Had to jack up the engine to get it out.
