Speed District | Track Day at Auto Club Speedway (November 19-20)

When: Saturday & Sunday - November 19 - 20, 2016
Where: Auto Club Speedway (Roval)
Racing from: 9am-5pm
Drivers Meeting: 8am (Sharp) Try and get there before!

Here is your chance to come out to the track! If you want to come down, watch, speak to other M3 owners, here is your opportunity to ask them any hand on questions and get their feedback on modifications/parts.

Your run group goes on once a hour, you should be literally getting two track days in one. All the cars around you are high end automobiles, and the owners do not want to scratch/damage their cars just as you don't want to. The incredible opportunity to receive private driving instruction from our professional driver (Jordan Yost) will be available on the registration page.

This event includes timing, over three hours of track time, photography coverage.

Most of our members are from BimmerPost! You are guaranteed to have a blast! Whether you are a beginner or a professional driver, our events are for you. This event is properly spaced out and broken down into different run groups (by skill), so you will feel at ease on the track. You'll be safe and surrounded by good company.

Feel free to ask any questions, I will probably answer them or someone that has been to my events before can.

Hope to see you at the track.

Looks like fun! I'll try to make it out- been wanting to try tracking for a long time- what better time? The Sunday Euro Expo looks fun too.

Did this track at Bimmerfest this year, first time on it. Fun experience going from half oval to a road course back onto the oval. You can get some serious speed. Will look into this, thanks for the post.

I've never done one of these, but I am tempted. Do they allow convertibles?

Yes. What are you driving? There are certain safety measures, but you can run a vert.

The wife just loved looking over my shoulder and seeing this post!

"What's wrong with your brakes!? "I thought this M3 was made for this stuff!?"...oh boyyy

Have to love citing safety concerns as justification for modifications- hard for them to say no to that LOL

well.... it is..... but better brakes make it better.

brakes became a necessary upgrade for me when i had to really start considering longer braking distances because of brake fade. it made me really nervous on the track and i hated that. are you bringing your wife to the event? she'll probably dig it. i always bring extra drinks for my garage friends and there is plenty of people to talk to between sessions. my girlfriend digs track days, and it makes it that much easier for me.

Just chiming in to say that if you're on the fence about this event, DO IT!

Josh runs some of the best track events around. You get more on-track time than you could ever want, there is way less traffic on track than at most events, and everyone is super friendly and laid back. M3s are very well represented, and you'll occasionally get the chance to share the track with a McLaren P1 or Lamborghini Super Trofeo car.

The Yost Autosport guys are usually there doing instruction, and they are die-hard BMW racers. They just retired their insane E92 racecar and are about to debut their F82 at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. Don't know if they'll be bringing that with them this weekend.

I used to just go with the cheapest track day groups but Speed District events are worth every penny. I can't say enough good things.
