Niche cars, if these can even be called that, do not diminish the brand. Doing shit like OEM-ing a shitty Japanese city car and throwing an Aston Martin badge on it - that diminishes a brand. If BMW has done their research, which apparently they have since they have record sales, then these cars will just add to the revenue stream. Most Porsche dealerships in the Northeast support themselves with Cayenne sales. Does that diminish the brand? They still keep releasing kick-ass sports cars. |

If u guys like gtr's so much why don't u get the fuck out of M3 forums and join ragtroc or whatever the hell it's called. It's nice to talk about other cars but this entire forum is turning into a gtr fan club. Gtfo.

Porsche doesn't mess with 911 though. They make the Cayenne and the 911. BMW is moving away from sports cars to GTs.

This is so typical of your posts. Flames, trolling, obscenity, etc. Not one constructive thing to say. And the irony is that you're the one making these threads drag on and on and on with your constant attacks on a car you don't even own.

I'm not saying I wouldn't drive an M3! Not at all, regardless of my wealth. It's an amazing car, but I'd love to also have a more purpose built road legal race car. (GT3 RS, etc. etc.)

That's what their customers are demanding. I'm pretty sure the M3 will offer seats that massage you after the F80.

Supercar = Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 458 Italia, Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg, etc... No way a Nissan would be included in a sentence with these cars, regardless of how fast it can be MADE to go. Any car can be made to go fast. In stock/OEM trim a Viper GTS would give it a run for its money and so would a Corvette ZR1, another fact and have seen it happen on the racetrack. |
