Wow, just wow.
OP, this has been going on for a minute now. I hope this gets resolved in your favor soon. PYSpeed should have taken care of this for you since you purchased through them. Analagous to buying clothing that's cut irregularly. You take that piece back to the store for service. In my experience Arkym also sucks. I bought a rear diffuser that I really wasn't happy with. There were some obvious differences from one side to the other that made for a poor fitment. I expected much better for my M3. I've been installing body kits of some form for almost 20 years on my cars and this piece was worse than the first cheap fiberglass kit I put on a Civic in 94. I too bought from a vendor on here and they tried to be the middle man expressing my concerns but at the end of it Arkym told me that's just the way they are! Really poor. I sold it for $100 and took my loss.
After trying a few other pieces all I have to say is that most of these parts are total shit and not worth the ridiculous jacked up prices. The only parts that I was 100% satisfied with were from Challenge. The difference in quality was notable. Materials, fitment and finish were spot on. Be warned! |

These so called business men trick us with BS marketing. Poor products with outrageous prices and their major concern is taking your money to produce an item that initialy cost them pennies.. If this is how a modern day bussiness is conducted then no wonder our economy is sh*t. With that said I'll be intsalling one of their hoods on our e90 next week yeah I hope it doesnt fit like yours but then again we purchased it second-hand for less then half price so chances are it might be worse. Good luck on the refund, they should honor your request if they wish to continue being sponsors. Maybe throw in a free diffuser wait nevermind that fits like sh*t too. looks like their best bet is going out of business.. half price sale anyone?? My appologies for the rant, just fed up with less then mediocre products from "enthusiast" companies.. I've seen horrible fitment from vorsteiner so this could be an improper batch of early molds or something else they might tell you when deciding to refund, yet the benifit of the doubt is this isnt the proper way to conduct business.

I read on another forum that PYSPEED was dropped by IPE for not paying IPE for a few exhausts PYSPEED sold and they were advertising over IPE's acutal MSRP. Not sure of the truth on it, but it was posted by IPE innotech and PYSPEED no longer advertises their product.

A quick snap shot of some emails on my phone.. Worst thing about Arkym besides the crap hood? They don't even have a PHONE NUMBER for the public, they absolutely INSIST you must e-mail them and 'Carl' used to say how he was solely responsible for emailing people and that was his 'job'. Then why hell hasn't he gotten back to me? Laugh out loud.

Soooo what I'm getting from this is that PYSpeed wants BMW Fanatic to ship the hood back but they won't reimburse him money until they receive it and BMW Fanatic is scared that PYSpeed won't refund him and that he has to drive without a hood until then?
