how long for ABS codes to show after being cleared

make this quick abs light came on i was on the road tried clearing the code till i got home light stayed on pretty sure its a bad abs sensor .but the codes are not showing back up is there a minamum millage i have to drive for them to show back up in a scan tool? already gor the part but want to make sure i replace the right one instead of trying 1 by 1 lol
