Brilliant White 60-130 runs..... New Low!
I was able to get in some VBOX 60-130 runs this weekend before the rain hit Phx. The same setup was used as in my previous runs, but the temps were a little cooler. Also, check out the .75% up slope!
Setup
The ESS DCT Stage 2 software is still delivering the power flawlessly and the gear shifts are lightening quick. I am still on 20" "show" wheels, so I am toying around the idea of some 19" to have some fun and maybe go lower! Best 60-130 time
I am excited to get some more runs in and with more practice and 19's who knows!

Agreed, that elevation is not helping either.

Damn , your posts are the most amazing ones on this board you just keep comming out with record breaking times man .......
Put a superman logo's on your doors Very impressive indeed but arent 20"s best as for rotating mass at those speeds rather than a smaller setup ( which in return is ideal for 1/4 mile runs )? |

I will look for some 19's, but I don't think that 18's will clear the BBK. If someone knows of a set of 18's I would try them out. I have a line on some 19's that are lightweight though. Yes, the elevation doesn't help either. Quote:
No, the 20's just have so much more mass to get moving. Plus my 20's are pretty heavy. Thanks Sammmy! Quote:
I am not positive on this run, but I believe that I started from 3rd. My diff keeps the first two gears so short that when it second I have to shift so quickly that third ends up working better in my case. I'll have to really monitor this when I do more runs. Quote:
Nice job Sammy lowering your time. Keep going out and lets drive all the E9x M3 times down!

ya i would think that with his 3.62 diff, if larry went with a smaller wheel/tire setup it would hurt his topend since he would again be lowering his FD from his 20" setup. the 3.62 would be great for low end but sacrifice top end on stock tire set up |

Great Time!
Wow, that is very exciting that it just keeps getting better with practice; I would like to see what you do with 19". I am getting a ESS very soon, If nobody posts up some California times by than, I will be taking a trip to San Diego, it would be great to have some company. I think it would benefit everyone to see what it puts down at sea level.
