I think mine shipped from the states, but the ones that look liked it are all from the same place most likely.

Thanks for the info. I can't seem to find any on eBay that look like these that aren't from Taiwan. Not sure I'm ready to chance those

Taiwan is good, china is bad lol. Almost all rep good fitment parts come from Taiwan. China has the risky bad fitment stuff. I would do it!

Decided to go with black paddles instead.
I’ve now ordered these from several sellers. All are equal quality, with minor differences in packaging. I bought the black set from apoutlet2013 on eBay and he was best - cheapest, best communication, best packaging, fast shipment, etc. Package says Made in Japan but I’m skeptical (for no objective reason).
Will install this Sunday.

I have had these in for almost a year now, and yep, $30 on Ebay. I am still happy with them, fit and quality is fine. Like someone else mentioned, it said made in Japan, but not sure if the meant the paddles or the fancy box they came in!

Ended up installing the silver, LOL. They looked better after I put the aluminum pedals in. Packaging of the black was as described below, and the best of all 3 I've ordered. With the important stuff out of the way now, the paddles (v1) were identical (v2 were a little worse).

I like the extended surface area. The click is the same as stock. The OEM paddles do have a soft "warmth" to them and the little pockets/dents were a nice touch (pun intended). These have beveled edged and are smooth to touch, but do feel a little colder/industrial. Hard to describe. They're staying in.

Why do my iPhoneX photos suck @$$ even when I focus?

Wondered the same thing, lol. Not because the product says Chinese vs Japanese in any way, just because of the price. Could put them in a 3DDesign box and charge $250 for them.

new paddles

Installed these last weekend... but having trouble getting them to work. Originally they were all black. I sanded the edges to reveal the silver

That's an option. I used a white wax pencil as I described earlier in the thread. You could use whichever color you want.

I used a roller ball paint pen. Has held up great for over a year.
