Fuel Injector Replacement Questions

One fuel injector is leaky—misfires in one cylinder on cold start, pulled plug smells like ethanol (E85), and swap coils misfire did not follow.

Gonna get all new injectors cause why not, takes out guess work. I saw I will need to code the new ones. Couple questions just to mentally prepare.

(1) The values of the injectors are on the injectors. Correct?

(2) It looks coding can be done with Protools. Correct?

Thank you

These are just regular common rail fuel injectors, not Piezos. So, there is no need for entering values or coding at all. Just simply take them out and replace them...make sure to properly lube both O-Rings (#5 and #6) on each side and replace the retaining clips (#7) as well.

Link to the FCP kit...probably the best deal with the lifetime warranty: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...h-0280158164kt

Didn't need to code my injectors and I recently got it done. You should be fine. I haven't ran into any issues and it's been about a few weeks now.
