355i VS M3 is old news. New talk of town = S4 > M3 :)

Saw this post on friend's facebook. For those who doesn't read Asian characters, the S4 guy is claiming

1) M3 0-60 = 4.8s. S4 (boosted V6) 0-60 = 3.9s

2) DSG tranny on S4 > DCT on M3

The S4 is the 335i equivalent. The audi match for the M3 is the RS4/5.

I own both. I don't see why the S4 wouldn't be compared to the M3.

1.) My tuned S4 is considerably faster than my tuned M3 in a straight line.

2.) I absolutely hate the DSG transmission. I should have done 6MT in both cars.

If they are talking about a tuned S4 being faster than the M3, I can understand that... but you can say the same about a tuned 335i being faster than the S4.

In the end S4 = oversized, overweight, underpowered car that understeers like no other. The only good thing I can say about it is that it looks decent and the interior is nice. Performance wise .. lol
