GTS steering wheels are always related to Alcantara. In addition, they can not be ordered without proof at bmw

Correct, the gts steering wheel came with a different trim, which would match with the gts door sills

No, that's not correct.
There were several trims when ordering

GTS wheel is completely circular, vs performance wheels which have a flat bottom

It is in fact a GTS wheel and it's a smoking deal. This wheel was also standard on the USA frozen silver edition e92. Both the GTS and the frozen silver edition car come with a different trim than OP is offering. They have a matching trim which go with the side skirts.

Edit: I want to correct myself - this is correct GTS. The trim piece we are all confused about is from the competition edition frozen silver cars which did come with a GTS wheel. It seems GTS came with the standard trim as OP is selling.
