Just wanted to checkin and say a big hello to everyone. I pulled the trigger on an ///M3 thus joining the club. I'll pick it up 12/30.

2008 E90 Jerez Black
6 Speed
Black leather, sycamore wood
Technology Package
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Premium Sound
Ipod

No MOONROOF!

So I guess I will be on this site a bit more going forward! Look forward to learning some new tricks from all of you and taking my experiences and sharing as well.

If you haven't already, order the snow tires. Made all the difference in the world for me here in Michigan. I now drive with confidence in the snow and slush.

I like the look of the wood and I would imagine that the majority of cars are equipped with carbon leather or aluminum... so I wanted to be a bit different considering the car is black on black. My current ride 530xit is Mystic/Auburn in stick.... very rare. The ///M is rare in its own right so that helps!

I have my Beltronics setup that has worked well for a few years... but we will see!

Going to Philly to get the car since no one else had one equipped the way I wanted it.

ISAR- What snows did you go with? I am curious as to what people are rolling on. This winter I will more than likely keep it in the garage but just in case I change my mind...

I almost feel like noob here in the ///M section but that will all change... I plan on doing a full story on BFile about the purchase process, delivery and review when I complete it all.

The sound of the motor is so addicting..... mmmm
