Wow, PS3 is really losing some of its big time exclusives. First its Final Fantasy, now Metal Gear Solid? At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if it lost Gran Turismo somewhere down the road

Sucks for PS3 owners; the Xbox version will be the multi-disc edition.

All things being considered it's big news, but not as big as the final fantasy announcement was back in 08. Even then, MS announces ff13, Sony follows up with ff14. MS announces MGR, Sony announces a prequel to the entire MGS franchise (and sequel to MGS3). On top of that Konami has always announced its MGS games for the XBox a year or two after the PS3 version, Metal Gear has been on XBox. Simultaneous release is huge though.

But for every exclusive Sony has lost to MS, they have 2 or 3 first party titles that fill the void. Even after losing GTA4, Rockstar has an exclusive game for the PS3 in 'The Agent'. Then there's inFamous, Heavy Rain, Demon's Souls, Last Guardian etc etc

Fanboyism aside, can't wait to play as Raiden, the character was totally redeemed in MGS4. While I look forward more to MGS Peace Walker more, I'm hoping MGR is a game that will totally knock socks off in HD.

The ps3 game killed him. I'm assuming this comes after that. Raiden looked insane in MSG4. Hopefully he's equally as insane when we have control.

MGS5? at E3, the only metal gear games i heard was MGS:rising for ps3/360 and MSG: peace walker for the PSP

yeh i hope msg:rising will be as good as any metal gear game. i played mgs2 like 245734868 times and finished mgs4 again like a month ago. Another thing i heard Kojima himself wont be part of the msg:rising team, instead he'll primarily focus on mgs: peace walker instead...good or bad?

big boss will be in peace walker for the psp. i think the story of peace walker takes place 10 yrs before mgs3. cant wait! now i have to buy a psp! lol
