NYC where to buy OEM quality battery for E92

My battery's reading 12.5V and I think it might be the original 2008 battery, so looking to replace and see if it solves my sensor gremlins. But is there somewhere better to get a quality battery instead of dealership?

Any insight is appreciated.

I got a diehard from Sears auto center. Direct swap and had no problems. I think there's a thread that indicated which one was a direct swap.

Yes, but have the DSC/DBS/Brake Lights popping up sporadically which usually always happens on a cold start, or if the car's sat all week. So I've read it's probably not the steering angle sensor, but more so a weak battery, so I checked and it's reading 12.5V which I also read on here is the low side of a healthy battery, so figured I'd try swapping the battery first before a $1,500 sensor.

Did you have the battery registered, or just swapped and began driving it?

I've read both...

Swapped the battery only. never got around to having it coded. Was planning to have a local coder do it.

Go to advanced auto. Great prices with online coupon and they sell the original spec battery that BMW no longer carries. I got mine there and bought app to code the battery.
