Isringhausen Cayman

Just a quick clip of some playfulness with an Isringhausen Cayman. They had 2 giant trailers at the track and 3 of their race prepped Caymans. This particular Cayman started 2 cars behind me and this is at the end of a 30 minute session of driving through the advanced group at (where else) Autobahn. Car looked so badass out there and the sound, felt like a video game for sure Should have taken pictures of their spread, very impressive

Nice vid. I love the Cayman platform!

Definitely a badass racecar, but the driver's lines are terrible.

His lines weren't that bad, were they??? First turn he took fine, a bit of a late apex, second turn is called "patience" and I'm taking an aggressive "new" line (to me) that I've never seen anyone else take on track and he took it as everyone else does. After the long straight his brakes faded (mine didn't ) as this was at the end of a 30 min session, so he overshot a bit. He realized this and then let me go by. Guess he pressed too hard in trying to catch me

Your "new" line for Patience is the best way through. That is the line I drive no matter what car I am in at the time.

LOFT

The line you used was the correct one like SM80 said. The one he used is a great way to hit and/or passed

I thought so, strange that I've never seen it before a few weeks ago and with no data acquisition not really sure what's what out there.Guess I don't have to be so patient at patience Thanks for the input guys

Your lines looked good.

His turn 2 looked like his late apex was a good set up for the turn right after. The 4th he overshot, maybe brakes or tires, since he let off to let you pass...

At least my take.

Fun to see. I couldn't tell--was your advanced group doing open passing, or point-bys? It looked like he dive-bombed you a bit going into the turn at the start of the clip.

That looked like a nice clean late pass to me

I aim to get my inside tires on the "secondary" set of black rumble strips (past the red/white rumbles).
