Syvecs on a standard(ish) engine.

Has anyone swapped to a Syvecs ECU and found any power from a non-boosted S65?

Why would you do this? The cost of the syvecs, installation and custom tune will run you a lot of money.

This is a $10k+ investment for maybe 30whp? Test pipes and a tune will get you there for 1/10th the cost.

I picked up a used S6 Plug n Play unit for a couple of grand, I’m wondering if it’s worth using or keeping for a future potential supercharger install.

This car already has Akra, Eventuri, Schrick cams, pulleys, tune. Any HP gain is welcome atm.

If you could find someone that can properly tune cams on this motor then the syvecs would be a nice addition.

I’ve found a couple who support S65 race cars with Schrick cams last week. Things are looking up. They said that Syvecs would give a better result, I’m just looking for examples of this elsewhere as proof.

Ask them why they say it will give a better result, and if they will guarantee it in writing. I have heard this story from tuners way too many times before.
