Just trying to get some shots with the top open tonight...it's hard keeping the camera steady at 30MPH.

Had a great time shooting these cars and watching the races. The car show was great, too.
Cool shot. A little bit of desaturation might give it that old film effect.

Cool shot. You should try some type of stabilizer bar between the seat headrests and a remote shutter. I think they sell kits for that.

Thanks. I was going for the vintage, film effect. I'll try to desaturate it a bit more. I always have such a hard time with what color/saturation levels are correct due to being colorblind.

I'll need to take a look. I had the tripod set in the back and used the remote shutter for 9 pics at a time.

On another note, you should have told me you were down at the PVGP...although it looks like you were there Sunday. our events were Saturday.

Joey - It's a tough shot to pull if the roads are not smooth. Here's mine back in March. I was only going 10mph

TL - How did you mount the camera in the back?

What if you just did 2 shots then merged them? Do a long exposure for the outside lights streaking, then do a exposure for the inside but with a quick shutter then mask them in photoshop.

I thought about it...as I have some shots that had overhead lights where the shutter when off quick and I got a clean picture (with no streaks though).

With the open roof, I'm not sure how real it would appear. I'll try to bend them tonight and see how it looks. Shouldn't be more than two layers and the memory brush. Maybe even just do the parts of the dash that hold the lights (speedo, tach, and switches).

Yeah I think the lights would be the most important.

Unfortunately, I didn't even think about it! It was somewhat of a spur decision of mine. I was there on Saturday. It was my first time attending and I had a great time, though, I had no idea where I was going or where to get good shots.
