Very nice. What did the Platinum Extended and the Piano finish trim cost extra each? I know regular extended is $1000.

Piano 1080 msrp, 980 invoice
Platinum 2575 msrp, 2350 invoice

You cannot order the premium and Piano together, unless you order the premium first and the add the piano once the car is ordered in which case they might keep the premium on there. Just luck.

Individual interior is not that expensive, compared to the exterior. There is no way I would pay 4K for the exterior paint on the M3 when our 750's individual exterior only cost 1.8K.

I think this isn't the case anymore. My SA (Ryan Amico at Steve Thomas BMW) just sent me an email a few days ago saying that he was able to order the piano trim and Premium Package 2 together. I think it just changed for the new year.

Damn that Piano black trim is killer. I have Extended Fox Red currently ordered, but that does make me think before I leave 111 status...I am not sure how good it would look with the extended FR, which does look good with the Carbon Fiber trim.

Do you have a production week - I am at week 6 according to CA, but stuck in Ordered on web site.

Congratulation on the order! Our cars will be nearly the same, hopefully I can get the individual interior. Can't wait to see the pictures.

We have the piano black inlay in our 7 individual, and it looks awesome. Hence the order on the M3 also.

But be advised the piano black is a scratch magnet , more like the first gen ipod. The scratches can be seen in direct sunlight. At least this is the case on the 7.

I think the piano black would go really well with the red interior.

Interesting, the only options P2 is good for the folding mirrors + the bluetooth handsfree. What do you guys think, is it required ?

Individual Interior is the only way to go......your new car sounds like it will be amazing.

Here is a picture of my Individual Amarone on Piano Black Trim with Inlay:

It is a great color, but very hard to maintain. Can get dirty quickly every small thing shows up.

I am tracking a 335i vert also instead of my M3, so your dealer simply swapped out an allocated order already in the system. I understand it may not change for a while on web, but your CA has the correct info to double check the specifics. Don't like looking at the wrong car however....

The reason that your Individual interior cost you "just" $2350 is that your E93 M3 has leather standard. The actual MSRP of an Individual interior for the Coupe and Sedan is $3850. Add custom stitching and even bicolor and you are in the $7000 range.

Makes sense, thanks for info. How much is just custom stitching on black extended leather ?

This is where you can see the available options on the M3. Also there are some special colors people have been able to get. Not sure how they knew about them.

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...isualizer.html

To order , you have to go through your CA if you want just the standard individual options listed in the book, but if you want more colors , stitching you have to go through BMW. BMW approves the order on special items. If you pick the options listed in the book you will more or less get approved.
