steering wheel trim?

Does anyone know if this trim will fit the e9x wheel?

I've seen it on another car and i guess its from the 1 series.

I have it on my M3. Originally bought it for my 328 and switched it over when I got the M. I think it looks a lot nicer than the all black original trim. plus, it seems as though the silver trim is in a lot of the high wear areas and keeps it from peeling as quickly.

Do you have any more pics? Also, is that an OEM M sticker at the bottom of the trim and if so what is the part #?

Kind of interesting with the different look. Certainly, it makes it stand out more.

I don't have any others, if I remember I'll take a couple later today. The M sticker is an eBay item. Ordered it hoping for a better fit but I'll probably wind up removing it soon.

It fits 100%. Had it on my previous 328i which uses the same wheel as the M3, albeit different leather type.

Okay, that looks cool. I've got some of my trim rubbing off around 3 & 9 positions, so I'm going to see about picking one of these up.

I always wondered why the lower models got perforated leather on the wheel while the M3 did not. It looks better IMO.

Here is another angle in the M3.
