Teach me how to play tennis, Robert!

And The Counter looks like a pretty good place. We should all go one of these days.

Alright, SO I finally broke down when I was at hobby people and I got some bobalicious thai milk tea boba...

No so good. I wouldn't say its horrible, but not like 118Cafe..

I was going to ask you guys what makes good boba vs bad boba. I have an Idea now, but still wondering what you guys thing.

Any of you guys make the trek down to San Gabriel and had Half & Half? Their boba is delicious. This is coming from someone who normally NEVER gets boba.

personally... consistency of tapioca. some places make it too soft that it becomes gummy and sticky at the bottom. no good. some places made it earlier in the day and it becomes hard or over cooked. also no good. for me... there's a perfection to boba.

i've had boba from San Diego all the way up to Victoria Island BC Canada and in the Philippines! Boba Truck is byfar one of the best i've had. Consistency is PERFECT for me. Even to the point that if i left it in the drink til the next day, the consistency remained the same and didn't HARDEN. I was shocked but it stayed the same.

Next thing to think about is the flavor of the drink... bobalicious is definitely lacking in this department. their drinks are way too watered down. Personaly I like mine sweet but not too sweet. Boba truck is too sweet for me at times but i can ask them to tone it down. And the Tea flavor is still there! Some drinks have lost that tea flavor, which i enjoy, and they become too sweet or milky flavored.

I need to try Half & Half, but so far, Tapioca Express is my favorite.

Haha that seriously might be her! I know he's got a big old fish tank in his living room. Her business is called These Buds A Blooming.
