FT: Full Akra Evo Titanium for E90 M3 FT

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Looking to trade my exhaust. I have a full titanium Akra evo setup with GT4 test pipes (2 o2 sensors not 4 so you need to code out the other bungs).

Looking to trade for something like Bimmerworld or ARH setup or something with valves? Please let me know. Thanks!

I don't want to sell outright just yet. Unless the offer is legit.

Thx. I'm in SoCal (OC).

Why not try different tires if it's the noise problem? Seems like a cheaper option.

I want to pair a Bimmerworld x-pipe but you need to modify a few things since the diameter of the Akra is smaller than most pipes. I also want to a valved exhaust/muffler setup at some point and it's so much work when all the piping is different sizing.

I just ordered a carbon plenum and once that gets here, I'll see how it sounds. But I'm not sure how long I'll keep the Akra setup. Maybe I will if I can find a GT4 x-pipe? But I'm not sure yet.

Didn’t you say how much you love your new Akra exhaust in the last couple videos?….I’m confused

Damn yal CHILL… I've changed my mind many times on exhausts. One of the cool things about SoCal is E9X M3 owners are swarming here and so are used car parts.

I think I'm on exhaust setup #8 now.

@OP I have a BW X pipe with HFC's and a 4 pipe mod if interested lol.

I do love it, it's just not loud enough. I'm happy I finally did this exhaust, but I want louder.

Lmao, I hear you. This will be my 20+ exhaust setup.

That's so tempting. My only concern is how loud it would be with out a valved system... I have a garage now and neighbors which I leave at 6AM sometimes. How is it on start up? I have cold start delete too. Would be curious to hear it.

I recall your Akra exhaust already has the H-merge in front before the x-merge. Isn't that already the GT4 x-pipe?

It's slightly louder than stock at start up with cold start delete. In fact, I've never even given it a second thought because it's very tame at startup. However, once you get past 3k RPM, it's like where is the exotic car making all these glorious noises loud haha.

I have full catless FI valveed exhaust with carbon tips. It’s too quiet for me when valves are closed but too loud when valves are open. I’m in SoCal, interested in trading?
