It's 100% Stock (almost)

This car still puts a smile on my face every time I look at it and drive it. And while I have to admit my car is not completely mod free (it has alignment, tires, tune/coding, and a BBK for the occasional track day), I have resisted the strong temptation to mod the car further, and instead enjoy it the way BMW intended.

I know this might not be a popular view on a car forum, but the more I drive this car and other cars, the more I think this car is really something special.

Cheers.

Preaching to the choir here.

Looking great! Less really is more with these cars.

With a driveway like that, I wouldn't mind having it stock..

Hard to argue with an "OEM+" build on this car. That said, if you are keeping the stock cats and don't have the M Performance exhaust, you are doing yourself a disservice, IMO.

Agreed. I still remember being absolutely thrilled with how my ZCP was when stock. For a while I didn't have any desire to mod it. And then.. the more time I spent here, I ended up going down the rabbit hole as we all do :lol

Granted, I didn't go very far; just springs, cosmetics (splitters/trunk lip/diffuser/grilles) and tune/intake/exhaust work. All just pretty much "bolt-ons."

You know a car is great when a) it still amazes you out of the box; and b) it barely needs any further tinkering to make it even more suited to your tastes.

This model will be a timeless piece just like the e46 m3...

2 years later and I haven't had a single mod on my 2011 zcp e90M..

Only thing I can thing of is spacers just to fill out the wheel wells, and maybe an m performance exhaust or Dinan free flow...

OEM+ is where it's at! Plenty of power and torque if you know how to use it. I am lamenting moving to the mountain foothills and dealing with snow and hills so not so sure RWD is something I can stick with but man it's gonna be hard to give up a car this good. Love where I live now but winter in the M3 is rough.

I'm a fan of 'OEM+', but the stock exhaust is a real let down. Its far too tame and kills a lot of the drama. An MPE or Corsa would be a massive game changer, adding some exotic tones with no drone. An aftermarket filter adds a bit of induction noise too.

For sure needs MPE, which I have and it is perfection for an OEM car. I can't recommend
it enough for those who want to keep their car all BMW.

Big fan of OEM+ too.

Aside from a tune and coding, my latest E90 has only seen cosmetic bits.

Plenty happy with the car as is, especially coming from an E93.
