Help! Car stalling

So, my car has been stalling on me a lot recently. It would do it probably once or twice a year (2018-2020). But now it's an every day thing. The car stalled on me reversing out the driveway 3 days ago. Also, when accelerating from a stop, I'll apply throttle but the car doesn't move. It feels like its going to shut of then jolts forward and I'm able to drive. It's worse on hotter days but mainly in the city downtown.

The car isn't throwing any codes that could give insight to what's actually wrong. I have an addition water pump code that I will address. However, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't cause my issues.

I would think its TBA's or ICV. I put a used ICV with low miles in the car a year ago. I have my stock one that didn't have any issues and I might throw it in. Like I said, no codes for these though.

I think it might be #7 on the diagram (PART #13417838259). Could be a leak. I'll buy it and replace it. I just want some possible advice or knowledge from the forums if any.

Has anybody else had this issue and what solved it?

Why did you put a used ICV on the car, when you had no indicators that the old one was bad/causing issues in the first place?

To see if it would fix another issue I was having. But it didnt. So it seems like this tube might be the issue.

Ahhhhh, and is the other issue in any way related to this? I feel like we aren't getting the whole story here hah.

Either way, try swapping them out again and see if you have any results, and wait on someone more proficient in stall/stutter diagnosis to chime in, good luck.

Are you having issues with your idle fluctuation really bad? Especially when you are at a stop light? If it is, then your fix will be changing the gas tank breather valve. Mine was stalling and the idle was fluctuating really bad while I was stopped. Changed the gas tank breather valve and it quit. Let me know.

Hi man, I was having similar issues with ICV. I replaced it and while I was there swapped the breather and MAP sensor as it's a pain to remove the SC plenum.

I'm surprised you're not throwing the standard ICV code. No relevant codes at all?

Might be worth checking the tubes you mentioned #6 for cracks but also check #7. The hose is a pain in the ass and if ever installed twisted it limits its ability to fully seat on the underside of the plenum. That said, I would still anticipate a ICV code.

Obviously long shot, but what's the state in the primary O2s? Leaks or failures have been known to cause some like problems as well.

Wish I could help more!

Edit: meant part #6, not 7. That's what you're already considering.

You know I actually did get a code on Feb 9th. I cleared it and it never came back though. No codes for the O2's either. Could be an issue though. I remember seeing something about it when I first got the car. My car will burble if I stretch first gear and let off which is really strange. Car is bone stock besides DCT GTS tune. I actually might lean towards the O2's now though.

Yeah, I don't think you get O2 codes necessarily when it's related to this. Worth checking.

Also, check the idle control strips for any cracks.

If you have access to INPA reset idle adaptations.
