Best review yet.. blows away the magazine writer's articles. Thank you!

Please share your ownership experience with us throughout your future years with the car.

I nominate this thread to be a sticky. Anyone else here agree with me? Administrators?

There is already a sticky thread with pointers to the different reviews. This can be added to that thread as a detailed "owner" review.

Wow. I am amazed at how you captured every detail of the driving experience in a way we can all relate to. Thank you for putting us in the driver's seat with you. Definitely the best review yet. From an owner-to-be, to a current owner -- THANK YOU!

I totally read you with your E46 M3 comments as well. You put into words my own thoughts about the E46 M3.... only I could never put it into words as well as you did!

It was too noisy and unrefined to be a luxury car, but was also too heavy and uncommunicative to be a true sports car.
Thank you again for taking the time to really detail the new M3's driving experience. It's obvious you have an excellent feel for the car already, and your abilities to analyze it far exceed any journalist review I've seen. Just amazing!

I'd be interested to hear what options you will choose for your next M3, now that you have sampled the launch car. Enjoy it in good health! Congratulations!

Thank you, everybody, for your kind words! It's hard putting something like this together and I had no idea what kind of reaction it would get. I was a little worried that, by remaining objective and being totally honest about my experience with the car, I was opening myself up to a whole lot of flaming, but it's refreshing to see that people on here are open-minded enough to accept somebody else's opinion. As sugar coated as it may sound, I realise just how lucky I am to get one of the first customer M3's and I am glad that I could share my experience with you...

I took a few more pictures today, so I will resize them tomorrow and upload them to a new thread.

I have read so much about this car as I have visted this forum everyday for months. Your write-up is definitely one of the best reads so far. Thank you very much for spending the time to write, it paid off as you can see by all the repsonses so far. Thanks and enjoy your car. I can't wait I until I get mine.

I 100% agree!

Good review.

I would love to see pics. Jerez is my first choice but I would be upset if it looked too purple!
