Smoke test on ess supercharged

Today i perform a smoke test in my m3 ess 650. It show to cylinders leaking at the boot. I have bought new boots before and use brand new clamps on the lower side and tbolts clamps on top. Both are peaking from the lower side with only 1 psi o on the smoke test. Not alot of smoke but evidently leaks. Has anyone consider buying after market boots with real turbo clamps? If so what brand? The reason indid this is that inony manage 545 and 560 on 4th i couldnt see any more tha 6.8psi on the dyno. Any help will be appreciated thanks
Ps i have seen 8 psi but that is if i jump on the rev

you'll likely run into clearance issues with the throttle body linkages. I'm interested in seeing what you come up with. I've never had a leak using any ESS kit and the stock clamps.

I just replaced all 8 intake boots with new ones and used the following clamps.

Oetiker clamps with a 9mm band width and ~74mm diameter
https://www.mcmaster.com/5574k19

I wonder if you can use these clamps. When you did your smoke test the smoke leaked from what location?

It leak from the bottom. The clamps used are oem brand new and also have new boots. The car os fast but i know there still room for improvement. It ran 136.7 in a 1/2 mile roll race. Just noticing i didnt hot the 8-9 psi for ess 650 kit. Bought new tensioner new belts. And still seems to have a leak. Just check with the smoke test ando so it did. Will check boost reading with mew clamps but just wanted to know if there anyone using other boots and clamps tonget thebmax boost

That was what i thought, are you getting max boost on every gear? Do a smoke trst and see what you get. It seems that everyone is just satisfy with boost at lower levels even with a leak. Thats why we have a. Very different variaty of dyno sheets.
