Bmw m3 dinan exhaust
Hi guys this is my first post. I recently bought my dream car 09 bmw e93 , it came with a stage one dinan kit. I wanted the car to be a little bit louder than it is. My mechanic suggested we take out the resonators. Please give me some suggestions.

install an aftermarket X-pipe of your choice, Dinan exhaust will really wake up.

Check if Dinan makes an X-pipe. This should make things louder without ruining the sound. When people just hack the resonators off, it makes the exhaust raspy and tinny -- sounds like shit.

Don't bother, pair it with the Gintani catless xpipe with resonators. If that doesn't do it sell your car.
Not many talk about it but I know first hand it is awesome. No drone (my definition of no drone is OEM and MPE). Not loud and obnoxious cruising around. Get on it and it's racy, harmonious and elegant and loud from inside the cabin. It is not boy racer loud like just noise, it is a loud that commands respect. Perhaps I haven't experienced enough exhausts with an xpipe. |
