I have no idea, alll I know is he's a cool dude.

He runs time attack which is a little less demanding on a braking system.

I literally have a preference and an opinion and thats I don't like Stoptech

For some reason every Stoptech owning person got upset because their street bbk is not a track bbk

Ive had e90s, e92, f82s, e46, ive run every brand of bbk and ive tracked every generation M car (ive been on this site for 11 years lol) this is my experience, thats it. I hope everyone has fun with their Kirkland style BBK and leaves me alone

Also im trolling you for saying I have no experience... I have no idea how fast you are lol. But given that you live in Minnesota, your track experience is laughable. You're supposed to be asking me for advice not questioning my experience.

Here is me at willow springs in 2010 with my 6mt e90 m3 and my sl63.
Dont talk to me about experience, hoe, I am your father.

All I said was Stoptech is a street based coilover which is objectively true. My opinion part was they are bad for track but maybe you had a different experience

Im sorry I got your vagina all tickled didn't mean to upset you

Enjoy your build and be safe and smooth See you out there

side note: silver apex with the silver brakes is absolutely money

cool thread guys. 10/10 thanks for the mention.

Hope you found the sick nasty brakes you were looking for. Brakes are brakes. Street and track variances only imply materials, lack of rubber dust boots, weight advantages, etc... StopTech and every other brand offers street-geared kits and race bred kits alike.

If you are running 2+ minutes at Buttonwillow, your stock brakes are fine. So is literally the worst BBK on the market. Time Attack and wheel to wheel have no different requirement from a hardware perspective. Cooling is what you'll need for long sessions. That's it.

It's ok to have opinions, but when you have an unpopular opinion based on zero facts or experience, people aren't going to accept it quickly. Good luck out there.
