IS350's are no joke I learned that the hard way

, although I did notice that 350 owners tend to be a bit older where as the 250 owners are younger people people. I wonder why

Just some insight from an IS350 guy, there are no 'chips' for the IS350.. chances are it was bone dry stock. Theres not much you can actually do to an IS350 for aftermarket performance aside from exhaust. There are no respectable headers out yet (some taiwanese ones are out but no one is willing to try them yet).
But R&T got the IS350 at 4.9/13.5 (February '07) so the car is no slouch.
Stock v. Stock it's a drivers race. But even all the lexus guys admit the 335 will outperform the IS350, especially with aftermarket performance. The fastest proven IS350 ran a 13.094 @ 105.43 and I'm pretty sure there are 335's running 12's with procede and exhaust.
Anyway, no need to 'wtf' the car isn't slow. Just make sure to get her digits and holler!

I used to own a IS350 and it was fast but it didn't seem like it pulled as hard as my 335i and I drove my IS350 to the dealership to trade it in, so I got the chance to drive them back to back. I guess part of the reason my BMW felt faster was b/c I got it with a 6 speed. I would be willing to bet that she had something done to it. Since she lives in your apartment building ask her next time you see her. The worst she can do is ignore you!
