Okay today im sitting at a light and a white lexus is350 wants to run... (keep in mind we were on a empty street which is close to my apartment) so we do a quick race and this GIRL driving sticks next to me the whole time, I couldnt start pulling till about 80 and by then we started slowing down, is my car broke or is the IS350 that quick?

Do you have a stick? If so, can you shift?

The IS350 is not slow. Mags put them around 5s 0-60, roughly the same as a 335i.

Did you have 'DSC' off? If in an auto, did you have it in sport?

Yeah, they're pretty close. Did you not know that?

C&D IS350: 0-60 5.1 sec, 1/4 mi 13.7 sec @ 104 mph
C&D 335i: 0-60 4.8 sec, 1/4 mi 13.5 sec @ 106 mph

Her car was not stick, they don't make the IS350 in manual, you should have taken her by about two car lengths. Take your car out at night and practice launching. You will get better

Yes she was hot, no I didnt get digits cause I was a little mad, I have auto and I turned off the DTC and also had it in sport mode but I guess I need to go get that procede chip now!!! Oh well thought my car was faster then that

Interesting... maybe she was chipped? You don't know if she had any upgrades. But damn hose numbers from C&D shows the cars are pretty close.

Chipped? It's a NA engine. Here is the answer - the IS350 is as fast as a 335i, or damn close. It's a drivers race, and conditions play a factor.

IS 350's pull hard off the line, they keep up with us. From a roll you should pull 1-2 cars.

In her IS350post that is.. lol. If a girl like that wants to race in the first place, she must've done some modifications to her engine (eg. intakes, headers).
