Sounds awesome. I'm sure we'll both be there the day they arrive; that would be sweet to see them both next to each other in person.

My brother had a 2001 M3 in Laguna Seca Blue and depending on the light looks like both of those colors. Its actually amazing how much it changes according to different lighting.
What about Santorini, does the color change as much,or is it basically always like the picture you posted?

It doesn't change color as much, from night - indirect light - direct sunlight it basically just gets lighter and lighter but more or less the same blue.

If it looks like that and just gets lighter, you definitely picked the best color. Its just to bad they didn't make it a standard color like they did LSB,it looked fantastic on the E46 M3.
I was lucky when I ordered my 2005 M3 in Estoril Blue.It was part of an individual ordering package, where you also got the black shadowline window trim and the color for $2600 CDN.The shadowline was an $800 option, which I would have ordered anyway,so the color was only $1800 CDN.

Here is a pic,

Very nice, yeah the individual paint premium is a little unreasonable in my opinion. $1800 sounds a lot better!

These are the best pictures of Santorini Blue that I've seen so far. I'm scheduled to pick mine up at BMW Welt on March 18th. I'll be posting a "few" pics...

Are you buying the car at a discount off MSRP or full MSRP?

I vote Speed Yellow for sure, never was a fan of those matte colors, all looks like wrap to me when I see it. If you are going to spend $5k, get the speed yellow though I admit the techno violet is also super nice. My old old e36 m3 was that color and loved it!

I feel the need to chime in here as I have just placed order today on an Individual M3 Coupe from Steve Thomas BMW. Can't wait! Would be great if all three arrived together.

I want to say congratulations on your Santorini, you made the right choice listening to yourself, that's why it's called Individual. Never seen it in person, but I absolutely love the color based on pics, def Top 5 for me next to Phoenix, Laguna Seca, Techno Violet, and Fiji.

Not sure if your order is sealed, but I would highly recommend adding the navigation if you did not. I purchased a 2011 M3 Coupe Alpine/Fox 6spd last april (now for sale if anyone is looking)… I'm a straight performance kind of guy, my original intent was to purchase as you first intended, bare bones, no options and could have cared less for the navigation, I just wanted to rip the car. I ended up finding my color combo with navigation and just went for it as I got an insanely under priced deal. I can officially say I would never purchase another one without the nav system. The full nav with traffic, ability to plug in your iPod and scroll through your entire music library on screen, plus DVD player is all pretty badass and more than worth it in my opinion. Just my two cents tho ;-)

My Individual order is Phoenix Yellow / Extended Fox Red / Carbon Leather / 6spd Manual

I own an Individual '06 Phoenix M3. I'm one of the few who is obsessed…ahem… passionate about the color. So to all the Phoenix haters out there… save it!

Buying from Steve Thomas so pretty close to invoice. I made up my mind for Santorini, all were great colors but I had to go with my long time favorite.

The car has slowly been gaining more and more options, I'm unsure if I could add navigation and stay within my max budget that my wife has set for the car. I'd be dipping into mod money to pay down the nav system and feel that I would be sacrificing my original intent of a work week highway cruiser/weekend track day car.

Wow so thats a Santorini, Laguna Seca, and Phoenix all coming in sequentially...going to be a cool sight if we can get them all together before delivery! Congratulations by the way!

I can tell you from a buyers perspective, ordering an M3 without NAV is a big mistake, IMHO. If you plan to keep it forever...ok, fine.

There was a great Individual MCB e90 for sale here...NEVER sold primarily b/c of how bare bones it was. It's just not appealing to most.

Just my .02 if you think you might ever part with the car.

I have an 01 PY with Kiwi and Individual Piano Black

So the exterior paint of your 06 had to be Individual, because the last year it was available to regular order was 04... corrcet?

Please post pics of the E92 PY when you get it!
