FS: Sparco QRT-C leather black/grey
For sale, located in sacramento.
Like new Sparco QRT-C, black leather grey stich. Had in my E90 for a few months, selling the car and going with Evo XL for new build since they have a little more room for me. If interested I have right and left floor mounts(PCI) for $100 ea $1700 picked up

Just a friendly heads up. I just had to return an Evo XL because I couldn’t get it to fit without removing the door card. Even went to both Sparco’s showroom in Irvine and EAS in Anaheim and they said they’ve never been able to get an Evo XL to fit in an e9x.
Ended up with a Cobra Nogaro for now. The Recaro Profi XL fits, but they’re recalled and won’t be available for at least a few months. |

According to EAS, you have to remove the door card or modify the transmission tunnel. This was my experience too. I tried multiple mounts and every available position on them. I tried the Planted, Sparco, Macht Schnell Clubsport, and those Macht Schnell solid bar ones. I mounted the Cobra Nogaro I got from Sube Sports (the Cobra distributor in Huntington) on a Macht Schnell Clubsport mount that Kevin at EAS recommended. Just did my first day in it at Willow Springs today and it worked great. I’m still on a 3 point for now, but plan to get a 6 point harness, which the Nogaro accommodates.
As roastbeef said, without the door cards and interior, it definitely fits. I really want to be wrong on this one as I love the fit of that seat, but this isn’t a full time track car for me and I don’t want strip out the interior. I just need to swap in a lower seat on track days to fit my fat head. If you want to try one, Sparco in Irvine should still have the one I returned last week. It’s the only XL they had in stock. |

there just isn't a good solution for us tall guys and race seats and sliders. i tried the bk sliders and was unhappy with the height, because i was at probably within 1/8th inch of my oem seating position. i know it sounds weird, but yes i'm that sensitive to my seating position.
the second disappointment was the contact the larger seat makes with the center console. sliding the seat all the way forward is limited by the front thigh support making contact with the console. so i didn't get the reduced height and rear seat "access" wasn't any better.

I had the same problem with sliders. Ended up removing the slider from the Macht Schnell Clubsport mount and mounting the side mounts directly to a floor mount. I’m 6’4” with a long torso and this configuration gave me plenty of space with my helmet on yesterday. I didn’t hit my head once that I noticed. I had to remove the padding on my seats too.
Sorry to co-opt your thread spooni. I just wanted to give a heads up since I just went through trying to get this exact seat to fit over the last two weeks. |

No it's not custom, it's just the black/grey factory option.
