I also wonder this question, it's possible that it's just a plug and play.

This is true. Right now I am looking at some dealers in the states to get it ordered but Canada or Mexico would work too if that doesn't work out, and then if that doesn't work (unlikely) I could get it through Europe. Mexico is a great idea though, I had overlooked that.

I asked this question about plug and play for front PDC and I was promised an answer next week. I had asked the service tech whether it would be possible to change my US Spec speedo for a European one and he said unlikely because of the difference with the BUS systems. I don't know too much about the wiring, but he said that the bus system might also be the reason why you can't have front PDC on a US Spec vehicle. I highly doubt that it is not possible, but I do doubt that BMW has a software patch that can make it compatible. I'll let you guys know if I hear anything.

Krueger, let me know if you find a willing dealer! I've been trying to get the M-tech front bumper for my 335i and haven't had the best luck. Would be great if you find one since US dealers can't order it.

I definitely will, I sent off a few emails to Canada last night too.

Lots of people on E90Post have it. There are at least two US suppliers, probably more. However, I think you pretty much have to get the whole kit and then sell off what you don't need.

There are no US suppliers for the E92 Mtech front bumper/kit. Longtran no longer can get the kit.

Those are both Canadian suppliers. I do not think DukeDynamics aka e92kits.com sells the kit, they have their own, which is not OEM.

US Supplier = supplier that provides kits to US customers
US Supplier <> supplier that is located in US

Seems like you are trying really hard to convince yourself (and others?) that it is impossible to get this for some reason. Do you work for a competing vendor or something??

And Krueger, sorry for the thread-jack, but there is some relevance here because if your other attempts fail, I would try these places. Clearly they have a connection in Europe so they might be able to hook your up with the Euro M3 bumper also.

Damn, I went under Exterior and bodykits, didn't look under package deals. I work for no competing vendor, I wish! I'd have the kit on my car already! These vendors are charging quite a premium on these kits. Why would I pay a Canadian vendor hundreds to call buy a kit from a canadian dealer and ship to me? Doesn't make sense to pay so much to the middle man. I rather go right to the source.

Krueger I'm still on the lookout for your euro bumper. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Yeah they are really expensive, but you can sell of what you don't need (unless you want the whole thing). How much would the kit cost "from the source"? Its not a US part so probably has no US price. Therefore the only comparison would be the Euro price I guess. I guess you could also compare to the E90 kit which is sold in the US, but that one has a lot less parts I believe.

My car is currently in the body shop and is having its front bumper cover replaced. The body shop (JMK BMW Auto Body) is an authorized BMW Collision Repair Center.

I gave the body shop guy the part number listed w/o the PDC but with the headlamp washers and he said nothing came up.

Can the dealership/bodyshop order this at this point? He was having a hard time locating the actual "euro bumper."

I want the Euro bumper cover! Someone help!

Krueger,

Contact NAMOTORSPORTS, their contact information is in this thread, they are also a authorized vendor on this site. They are based out of CT and are getting the Mtech kit for the E92 Non-M, they might be able to source the Euro bumper for your M3.

Meh... I can't see how that would be better than the painted reflectors. I mean, they'd just Bondo it up and the integrity of the fix would be unknown. The last think I'd want to see is 3 years later an indentation start where the reflector holes were filled in...

I'm in for Euro Front Bumper, with PDC, with Head Light washer, etc, in SSII... I don;t mind the price too much, do mind color matching...

I will go to my SA/CA soon to discuss MY'09 options for E90. See if I can find something.

PS: Do Canadian M3s have only KM/H on their Speedo?

Thanks

A.
