GIAC ECU Beta Flash with VFE Air Filter, Dyno Results
GIAC will be releasing an ECU flash soon, here are a few dyno plots done on a Mustang Dyno, which is more conservative in comparison to most DJ's. Another M3 with an Exhaust, made 320whp, not pictured in these plots though. The 328 baseline is from the same bonestock car before the ECU flash and Filter.
EDIT: These dyno's are SAE Stock Baseline, vs. GIAC Flash with VFE Air Filter. Here's my car with the GIAC Flash/VFE Filter, as well as the Pulley and Xpipe compared to the other car, not the best comparison as they were taken weeks apart, regardless some healthy gains over the powerband. After the GIAC Flash, the throttle response was improved, speed limiter is removed as well. It should be available at GIAC dealers soon, based on my results vs. other cars, I'd highly recommend it!

The gains for the software look a little high and the gains for the x-pipe & pulley look a little low. Same dyno operator? Same correction method?

The baseline before, then the ECU and filter after, show the gains, that's what ultimately matters, the filter is good for a few ponies so add that together with the ECU gains as well, I believe they made 3-5 more with the filter, so 20 or so is not unusual for an ECU tune on the S65, albiet higher than some. Personally a dyno is not how I measure my cars performance, I usually like to do comparo runs with other cars, and so far my car has performed better than expected in the many runs I've done, so I know it's making the power.

It is not a custom tune! You won't have to mail in your ECU either, any GIAC dealer will be able to flash it.

If I don't have to mail away my ECU, this will certainly be the choice for me.
Also I hear great things about GIAC from the Porsche Boards.

Agreed, currently I believe a GIAC flashed Stage 1 996TT, has the best trap, I think it's 126mph!

Are they selling this or taking beta testers? I'm in Irvine regularly.

Yes, I do agree that GIAC &VF is a solid combo. I have a VF-RSR kit on my Golf GTI and it was smooth as silk. Now I am wait for the GIAC flash & VF supercharger kit. I think it will be a monster. Now all I need is the flash to get the ball rolling.
