The more power the better! Even with these fat 285/35 tires it just blows them once it hits second gear. I used to drive with the POWER button on all the time, but not anymore. I definitely don't need the throttle opening quicker.

I'm not lowered. No rubbing in the rear. Fronts are barley touching the inner fender when doing a sharp turn.

Cool Track on the video, who is it?
I might later, it's always an option. For now it was either new wheels & tires or an extra 50 hp, so I decided I wanted a different look to go along with my new power.

It's easy to change. The V3 has a small dipstick underneath on of the fittings near the top of the unit. Who said the E9x M3s don't have a dipstick?
A stainless steel oil line about 3 foot in length is already attached to the supercharger. When your ready to change it you just place the line out near your front wheel and unscrew the fitting at the end of the line and out comes the oil. You refill the unit by unscrewing a fitting located on top of the supercharger.

It's much more responsive since it's now got air being forced into the engine. Let's see what else... oh yeah when you go through the drive-thru window everyone will know you have a supercharger.

Congrats man!! What's the oil maintenance like? How often does it need to be changed? Checked, etc?

Initial supercharger fluid change must be performed at 2,500 miles. The supercharger fluid must then be changed at least every 7,500 miles.

Yes I do all of my own work. Roman told me that I was the first M3post member to self install the ESS supercharger system. I believe 2 maybe 3 other members are currently doing their own self install also.

Well done. I'm a huge fan of DIY, but I'm not sure if I would have the balls to tackle that on my own.

I just got through upgrading from the ESS VT1-535 to the new VT2-625 kit, so now I have more boost along with the addition of an air-to-water intercooler.

Looking at some past BT Tool data and comparing it with some data I captured today I noticed the intercooler has dropped the incoming air by about 40ºF in 4th gear at WOT over the VT1 setup!

Here a some photos I took during the installation. Enjoy!
