2013 Frozen Blue M3 Intro.

Hello all,

Just wanted to wave my hand and say hello to the e92 M3 community. I'm picking mine up tomorrow from Georgian BMW in Barrie. I'm hoping to drive it back to Halifax at weeks end.

Can anyone recommend a good shop to install some Xpel/3m wrap in the GTA?

I'll attach a few pics. If anyone recognizes the car and has any info on it, I'd love to hear.

Ohh boy my baby is gone! I put an eye on that car to buy next year. Was hoping it would stay unsold =) Congratz on a sweet ride. From what i've read on autotrader it looked good. That car is 10min away from my house as well.

Car was perfect. Also feels reassuring when its at bmw dealer as appose to some other one.

Whelp, quick update, good news and bad. The bad is I'm not an M3 owner yet. The good, if anyone is still interested in the car, it is still for sale.

The long and short is I flew up to Toronto last week, drove to Barrie to sign the docs and pick up the car, but seeing the car in person there was way more damage than what was relayed to me by the sales associate.The car looks great from the pics, but up close was a different story. The clear coat was peeling in multiple areas along the roof line and lower rockers, the hood was full of rock chips and scratches, the high gloss shadow line trim was bubbling with rust, and the hood latch was broken. There were more issues, but you get the point. I could have handled a few scratches and rock chips, but the car looked thrashed, like someone just leased it for 4 years and didn't care about how they gave it back. My 7yr old 535xi wagon with 187k kms on it is in better shape.

The dealership did offer to repair the damaged items, but I wasn't interested in a 4 yr old car with multiple panels needing a repaint.

So the search continues.....

Some how I am not surprised... Most frozen cars I've seen on the market are in terrible condition and come with "defrosted" paint.

Thanks! I actually took a gamble with mine since I bought it from a Porsche dealership in Calgary without flying out to take a look lol Luckily there isn't any damage aside from a few minor scratches

I've had my eye out on this Frozen Blue for a long time, just shows you how deceiving pictures can be! Also very disappointing that the representative from the dealership wasn't 100% honest with you. Did you even bother to test drive it?

i really don't know what people are thinking when they put a price tag like that. thats with 23k+miles too lol. For US thats a high Mileage.

Yeah, I took it for a 10 minute drive or so. Car drove well and felt tight, but I couldn't get past how the exterior was treated. I had made up my mind that I wasn't getting it within about 45 seconds of seeing the car, so I wasn't paying too much attention to rattles and shakes on the drive.

I didn't get the feeling the sales rep was being dishonest. I think she truly wasn't a car person, and didn't notice the kind of damage that most M enthusiasts would be looking for.

If anyone else is looking at this vehicle, I would get it on a lift and really go over it.
