That should be interesting....... the P31 package must make a big difference on handling. I look forward to hearing the outcome of your road course outing.

A guy in town has a white C63 without the P31 package......... I heard it yesterday and it sounds amazing.

Truth be, with these type of cars, it comes down to driver.

Not with the level of drivers on this forum. Maybe a skilled driver in an M3, but not someone like Jaypod. Come on!

Nice car, but Uncle Welcher will crush you on the track. You drove the IS-F poorly so this car shouldn't be any different.

Yes - there will be instructors there for you as well. Just be careful with the C63, the ISF was too much car for you - maybe you should go back to a Smart car - much more your speed!

C63 is a very nice car. Here is a great comparison by Drivers Republic between C63 with performance package, 6 mt E90 M3 and lexus ISF.
There are 2 vids (both at the bottom of the page from the link) one comaparison on the track and and an 18 minute feature on the road. On the road they really liked the C63 but still prefered the M3....and on the track, well you all know the result i'm sure.

+1 I agree although the M3 is MUCH easier to drive fast on the track than that torque monster and needs more throttle control or the rear end will just fly out.

Sure, headgear is a stronger driver. Back to my point, it comes down to driver.

Now me against joypod, that's a different story!!
