Call my guy, he doesn't use laser cut..but his hands are like lasers. You guys can check out my tints this weekend, Jaypod..I think I've proved to you the kind of work I seek from aftermarket stuff...I wouldn't use him if he sucked in any way!

I must have missed the part of yours not being laser cut. Good work is good work - you said you were really happy with yours. Still deciding whether to do it or not - dont want too dark. I trust your judgment for sure. I will definitely put Don at the top of my list. How long did it take? Where abouts is he located?
I will take a closer look at yours on Sunday!

Check my previous post, the place is called The Detailing Shop in Newmarket.

For Gearhead... yeah its Sean, my family has been dealing with him for quite a while and he is a good guy that does great work for sure.

Let me know if you want his info
does the tint go with those cars that have comfort access, because i want to tint my car darker, but i heard that some tint cant be put on cars that have comfort access.
is it true?

I have heard that depending on the tint you use, it can dilute the range of the CA, specifically the trunk access. I think that it depends on the film that is used. I am also curious if anyone here has issues with CA if they are tinted.

On a separate note - they now are calling for light rain on Sunday, but they have changed the forecast everyday this week, so I am hoping they will change it again tomorrow. I will still show up rain or shine as I just put the summers on today and I am sure I need to go for a drive on a Sunday afternoon anyways, plus I would love to check out the mods on everyone else (especially slammedm3's) cars if you show.

Sunday I also want to chat about who is interested in a spring drive to Niagara / Welland / Lake Erie. I was thinking of a Saturday drive on either April 25, May 2nd or May 9th. After Sunday I will set up a poll with a new thread to see what date works best for everyone. Sundays also work okay for me if that is better for everyone, but I figured if we are going to end up at Niagara it would be better if it was a Saturday night

Yeah some forum members have posted about how their tint interferes with CA... Formula One Pinnacle is ceramic so it doesn't interfere with electronics, worth going with a ceramic tint since CA is a pretty important feature IMO.

Not sure if it will make difference or not, but I did have a Plan B at this location in the event that the weather was bad, as I remember last time it was a little too cold to be comfortable outside. There is underground parking in the building where the starbucks is, and the ramp is just before the SB store. If the weather is really bad once we are there, we can always move it inside where it will be warm and dry if we want to chat and check out each others' cars.

The indoor parking is the type where you pay at a machine. So if anyone gets there late and does not see us in the parking lot I suggest they drive down the ramp to see if we are on P1. (i.e. it is free to enter and leave, and you won't need a ticket if you are there with the car) The lot is usually pretty empty on weekends, as everyone who is there for shopping usually just parks outside. The ramp out is on the other side of the building, and it brings you up right infront of SB.

That definitely makes a difference, I'll decide later this afternoon. I have some plans with the girlfriend, but maybe well come by for a little!

FYI - The weather finally broke here (Oakville) in the last 30 minutes. It has really been pouring and miserable all morning, but the rain has stopped and it is brightened up a bit. Car is still going to get dirty on the drive in, but they are calling for rain for a couple of days this week anyways.

I think the system is moving eastward, so it should be nicer by 2PM downtown.

So it appears the rain scared a few people away. Revmmm, Gearhead999, ALM3 and myself still managed to grab a coffee and a couple of beverages and chat M's etc. I think we found a great spot for future meets!

Here's a pic of Revmmm's car on the ride home to prove it happened! (sorry crappy iphone pic)
