Ugh. Do NOT want. What is MB's problem these days? All of their new cars look like they have down syndrome (no offense to DS people of course)...

lol I had a buddy with an Acura Legend coupe way back in the day which had those soft-close doors with the electric motors in the doors to finish shutting the doors once you got the secondary latch shut, I used to pity the guy while lol'ing at the guy every time he had to yell at passengers every single time they got in the car not to slam the door.

What a retarded idea, but IIRC some cars are coming with those again, lol.

I don't want to be THAT guy... but I just don't know how I feel about the exterior. It definitely looks luxurious, but it doesn't look sporty or fun-to-drive at all. It basically looks like a mini-Maybach to me. That's cool, I guess, but I don't want another touring sedan, that's what the E and S classes are for. I loved the previous generation C, but I don't know what to feel about this one.

(And yes, while the interior is gorgeous, I'm still not a big fan of the tacky screen.)

The interior looks fabulous. The exterior though, is kind of overdone just like the recent Mercs.

Interior, the Benz trounces all over what the F30 has.
Front, I prefer the Benz

The F30 has a much better ass
Side profile, the F30 looks more complete for me.

So far, it's a tie. From the looks of things, I think the Benz has sooo much more potential from modding and from a real AMG treatment than the F30 with modding and the M treatment (F80). I won't judge or speculate on peformance until I've driven the Benz...not even fuel economy.

Great breakdown. I agree for the most part. NEVER in my life would have considered a benz. Been a 3 series guy my whole life. This might be the game changer.

Lol, not a fanboy. Just don't like MB styling these days. In fact in this class I can think of quite a few cars I'd rather have including the ATS, 3-series, S4, hell even the Cadenza tbh...

Agreed. BMW had it perfect with the E9x as far as nav screen implementation goes. Or even the F10...

I wasn't a fan of the rear end, but in this pic the side profile doesn't look so bad
