Haven't posted in a while, but my car was in a hit & run once again, in this case the driver left as I asked for their insurance information.

Did you get the plate of that car? Assuming you did, you can call icbc and give them the info. They will/can summon that car in for an inspection to compare the paint and damages. Highly unlikely they’ll be able to confirm anything though since it is not required by law that owner have to bring his/her car in. Especially that person can simply wash/clean the bumper before going in.

Happened to me a long time ago. My neighbor clipped my car and denied doing it even though our cars traded paint on the bumper. Icbc inspected his car weeks later and said they can’t find anything conclusive. Not much you can do unfortunately, shit happens.

Yup, driver left the scene when I asked for information also. I took many pictures and videos also. I had a hit & run last year in December also. I'm just not gonna park on the street in North Van again lol

Dude I think in the US, that's a pretty serious crime; leaving the scene of an accident. Hope you get it sorted bro...freaking sucks.

picked up a new wireless charging phone mount with a folding arm, so I can keep it tucked down low for daily use and prop it up high for recording video with Harry's on track

gone through several different mounts: air vent, windshield, cd player. this seems to be the best of all worlds. extremely sturdy and versatile.

It's suctioned to the dash?
Where did you get it?

but in the e90 the CD player is placed too low

Yes, there's a rubber circle piece that's "permanently" adhesived (3M tape) to the little shelf in front of the screen and the suction cup goes on top of that (for much better adhesion).

Got it on Amazon. It's made by iOttie.

It's serious here too, but not a priority over other things sadly

Had some 20 somethings honk and wave at me this morning.

Ran into a white m3 headed the other way home from the office. Driver to driver nod.

Love the aura around these cars.

Finally replaced my ghetto weighted stock knob with this UUC knob. I waited an eternity for the rk7a-l which they just couldn't make for me, so I had to settle for the rk6a-l.

I have a 2008 e92 m3 manual transmission. After changing the oil, I followed the multiple videos I watched and got to the service menu on the cluster, I pressed the BC button to look at which item needs service. I scroll down on the stalk to get to red oil change symbol. But when I press on the BC button at the end, it won't trigger a reset. I tried pressed and released and also tried holding the BC button. I also tried pressing the cluster button, and a variation of holding and not holding brake vs clutch the same time. My brake fluid needs to be flushed also. I have not done it yet but when I tried to press the BC button for brake fluid (just to see if the reset option will come on) also no luck.

Not sure if manual and automatic transmission makes a difference because most video are with automatic transmission and most are not m3. There was a 2011 manual m3 reset video but not seeing anything different. Is there something I am missing.

If there is a step I am missing, suggestions will be appreciated.
Welcome aboard mate. Did you start with pressing the trip meeter reset in the cluster? Try this:

Going forward Id post techy stuff under the engine/maintenance sub forum.

Also, did we see a intro + pictures of your car yet man?!

Afirm, yep the UUC rk6a-l will do everything the rk7a-l aka "hammertoe" will do. My favorite is the 17-ac14 made by YUU and available thru THM distributing.

Ahhhhh... After serious hail damage to my car from last summer driving across the country the ride is fully repaired... $23k and some change later the car looks new once again...

Ownership of this car has been one crazy ride... from replacing the engine due to rb and main bearing damage, I can confidently say that all the body panels of my car have been replaced and repainted in original Alpine White. It's almost like having a new car once again (with 101k miles).

Now that the e93 is back gonna park it for a bit and junk up the wife's AMG a bit longer... hehehehehhe... Sorry no pictures. But I will post some when I take new shots of this completely stock ride.

Thought I could drive over some debris on the road, ended up karate chopping the shit out of it with my lip. Thankfully, my lip made it through unscathed. Alpha N FTW!

I returned back from ACM in NJ (650 miles away) after having the following work done:

WPC treated rod bearings
Motor mounts
Eibach Prokit
Dinan supplemental ride kit
ESS VT1-550

It was my first experience with ACM and I can't recommend them enough. Tom was awesome to deal with along with everyone else over there.

As a fellow N52 and S65 owner, I have to tell you that's a great combo! Probably the best $:value ratio of any pairing of a fun/reliable/low-maintenance daily drivers car, and a truly special engaging sports car experience. I can't think of much else that checks every single box for both purposes (daily driver vs. fun car)
