I doubt it. 1Ms with 15k miles is going for 67 on EAG. And we know their prices are premium.

Similar mileage/year, so it looks like some combination of LSB and the mods on the LSB car are worth ~$20,000.

It's not about the money. This seems to be a common thought. For (whatever $$$) why not buy a Porsche/whatever else. The buyer has multiple investor grade M cars. Some people love BMW. Some Porsche. Some Mercedes. Some Ferrari. Some....you get the idea. It's about buying the car YOU want. For the guy who buys a 1970s muscle car at auction for 500k...why wouldn't he buy a new McLaren? Because he wants the muscle car.

very well said, agreed 100%.

and another example..... if you walked into a BMW dealership to buy a new F80 for $80k, and the salesman told you that he could sell you a brand new E46 or E92 for the same price, would you still buy the F80?
