Congrats! I was annoyed by couple things when I first got my m3 and was even concerned about some of the noises it makes. I don't even notice them now, in fact it's a very comfy dd which happens to sound awesome and handles great.

Another new M3 owner...
Having had an E60 545i and 550i, I now find myself in a 2010 E92 M3 with 83K miles. Did the oil analysis after I put 5K miles on the last reported oil change - copper is doubled at 4 ppm vs. 2ppm, but they're telling me it's good? LM 10w60 takes forever to warm up in this Chicago weather now. Will look into doing RB soon, maybe the coming summer. Seat belt extender was only working 20% of time when purchased in Oct 2018, doesn't work at all now. Did the BMW GTS DCT tune, which makes it smoother between 1st to 2nd gear, and back. Seems like the previous owner HAD some coding done, as the digital speedometer readout was already present when I bought it. However, I can't tell if the rod bearings were already changed?! Wish someone could have etched the engine with the month/date rod bearings were changed if paperwork isn't available!
Here it is with my winter tire setup... |
