Unrelated but how do you pass emissions with an x-pipe? Do they affect emissions?

I have one, came off a car with 70k, was working perfect and passed both NY & CA emissions with it. Message me an offer, I'm based in West LA, available for pickup whenever.

You don't pass emissions with a catless xpipe. You either put your stock one back on and do the cycle to pass or pay someone to pass.

Let's say your local emissions place is lax with the visual part of testing...they just do the OBD port plug-in. Will a tune allow you to pass, despite the lack of cats? If so, any particular tune you could suggest?

monitors for secondary 02 and CAT will never set, so you cannot pass the plug in diag.

From my understanding a catless x pipe will never pass even with a tune.
