Java Green E92 M3 DCT

Hey community,

What do we consider a fair price for a 2011 E92 ZCP DCT finished in individual Java Green? 59k miles clean carfax. RBs and TAs done as well as new MPSS and robust recent maintenance including many new front suspension refreshes.

If it helps, only 11 NA spec E92 M3’s were made in Java Green.

Almost like it was yesterday, I recall a dealer (i think in San Diego) back in 2013 had this new Java E92 out on their lot for a very loooong time and couldn't give it away.

2 owners double hump. And yeah appreciate the link, saw this one. Its tough because the market has come up considerably since then.

Taking away the color, most ~60k mile, well cared for basically stock cars will go for around $40k, give or take a few k depending. Adding the color variable, in this case, could be a positive to some and a negative to some. I like it, my wife would skin me alive, lol! Super rare color has to add something IMHO. How much I guess is up to you. Fire Orange would add at least $10k to value.

This isnt the Porsche 911 Paint-to-sample market.

This is a high production car with a paint job basically nobody would ever want. This is sellers tryna find suckers.

that just hasn't held up with the other rare(er) colors. see LMB, IB, and of course Fire Orange. Combination of rarity and personal preference. Not saying it's worth double, but some sort of premium is reasonable.

I'd own an M3 with those other colors you mentioned.

Java is different.

I'm going to guess these java cars were sold at pretty steep discounts when new.

Ask for 120k on the forum. Doesn’t hurt to put a number out there and most people will defend you if anyone calls out the price.

Java Green is an incredible color! I had a similar color VR6 GTI (cosmic green I believe) back in high school.

I think it would fetch a pretty penny with lower mileage. I'm in the mid upper 40s camp with 60k miles.

GLWS. Someone is getting something special.

I looked at two Java Green cars when I bought my Mineral White E92. I really liked the green but don't like black wheels. If I had found one that left the factory with silver 359's I would have bought it.

Java Green is a classic BMW colour.

Some people like it, some don't, including you.

We all like and want different things in life, but that doesn't make people 'suckers'
