It was a pleasure meeting everyone!!! Fantastic group of people to do a cruise with
Hopefully I can join you all again in the future. Big thanks to RO_Turbo for setting this up, dnotorious for doing a great job as leader of the pack (always telling us when turns are coming up with a nice mix of humour...and trivia! lol), and JulieDriving for navigating me back to the 401 to make it my next meet. I ended up making it to my other meet in time to see everyone there as well It was a solid mixture of people of different ages and backgrounds that made the conversations and lunch break interesting and entertaining How much for insurance?! What can cops do when off-duty? What should we be weary of when traveling on the Autobahn? Thanks again for introducing me to a new place in Ontario. Loved it. I tried uploading pics, but it keeps giving me an error (reduced the size of the pics already). Been trying for the past hour Ill try again later tonight. |

Thanks again everyone for a great day. We just got to Toronto a few hours ago, having a look through some of the pictures and will try to post a video too today or tomorrow. Most of my pictures are repeats of what others have already posted, so I'll only post a few...

OK Thanks for the advice guys, I uploaded the pics to one of the sites your recommended. Here are the pics:
Very nice of them to put our event on the window! I thought this was a great photo, M3's everywhere, even approaching me as seen in my side mirror lol My winter beater red truck in the background: The road we were denied: Destination Reached: Clean sand and clear water: Crew decides to take some modelling photos before calling it a day: |

Glad you could make it to your other meet. I went to E90post to see the thread ... and saw that you got there in record time. Man, were there a lot of cars. Kinda like the last M3post meet I had mentioned to you (pic below)

Great capture!
I have to thank my little one for falling asleep that turned a 5 minute Home Depot run to meeting you all! Looks like it was a great trip. Looking to join the next one for a little longer than just a meet & greet. Cheers! |

Hey guys, a little late but I finally got the video online... had some issues with converting the video as I tried using the new GoPro CineForm software.. the final result is still a bit jerky in spots but I don't have any more time to play with it.

Aahhh, listening to the motor, re-seeing the route and all M3s travelling was terrific - thanks Mike! Perfect position for the GoPro.

Started a new thread in order to organize another day cruise, perhaps a bit closer to home.
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=690152 Realize it's short notice and that Mother's day might not be ideal for most, but hopefully we can start some dialogue in that thread to pick another day in the near future that works for most people? Please post some dates you are available and lets see what we can come up with! |

As discussed with many of you during the PEC Day Cruise, I am organizing a 3 day trip to Calabogie, and the date has now been confirmed as Friday July 13. You would need to skip work on the Friday as we will leave Toronto in the morning, and we would be back in Toronto by dinner time Sunday. You can of course head home anytime on your own if you can't do the full 3 days.
I'm just posting here for all of you who subscribed to this thread, the new thread for this trip is below, please post any replies there: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=705033 |
