Richbot Do you have pictures of the fender gap of your car with the ZCP springs and non-ZCP Struts? I'm curious. I might just get a set of used ZCP springs to throw onto the car for the time being.

18x10 ET25's all around, with 275/35-18 front and 275/40-18 rear: 17x10 ET25's all around with 285/40-18 square: All with 2.5 degrees front, 1.8 degrees rear camber. That last photo is about as big as the gap ever looks, the car had just been jacked up.

Since your car is a stripper I would get these: E90: 31332283563 / 33532283569 (6MT ,slicktop, ZCP, Nav or No Nav) I believe this is X6/X5. If you want to be nitpicky and be specific, X6 appears to be on 6MT Slicktops, and the X5 is a little more common.

Has anyone done the E92 struts/shocks to E90 or vice versa yet?
Just picked up a set of E92 ZCP's to replace my E90 ZCP's next year.

I have not read every thread...I retro fitted ZCP struts to my E90 back in ~2012.
I lived in Germany at the time and purchased an E90 ZCP strut set from the forum. There was a German fellow who worked on all of our M-Flight cars, and he is the one that installed mine. At that time, I installed the Dinan Stage III suspension as well. So different springs, top hats, camber plates, bump stops, front sway bar, etc. Also, BPM installed the correct software for the ZCP pack, along w/ Euro MDM, and multiple other coding/tuning options. The car is been perfect ever since and I love the way it handles and feels. As a caveat, since the ZCP retro-fit, I have done solid subframe bushes, upgraded diff bushes, and the upper control arm bearing/bush. Anyways, I love the fact that I went w/ the ZCP retrofit. I've run 55 laps at the Ring and ~20 of those w/ the ZCP retrofit...definitely improved my laps after install.

Interesting.
Had not ready any definitive posts of people swapping in ZCP Springs and achieving the 10mm lowering. I had looked into this way back, but couldn't find any info.

Can you share some thoughts on your addition of subframe and FTABs compared to the Dinan bar/plates compared to the basic ZCP setup? |

The subframe solid bushes and the FTABs were the best mods I have done to the car.
The FTABs especially, because they are relatively inexpensive and the steering feel is improved. The subframe bushes are amazingly impressive! The rear-end is so much more responsive w/ on/off throttle response. You need the nose to dip-in more, easy, lift throttle, need it to widen on turn-in, give it a touch of throttle. It acts so much quicker... I will say that the ZCP struts are nice, but I never used the basic set-up, just the ones w/ Dinan stage III. The stance and feel of the car improved and provided more confidence for me than the standard suspension. Plus it gave more adjustability in front-end camber. I also liked the fact that I had OEM struts that somewhat matched the springs offered by Dinan. Basically, the same height difference w/ ZCP springs or Dinan springs...

I don't hit the track much anymore because of where I live currently. There are no downsides to the mods on the street, imho.

Sweet, thanks again for the feedback. FTABs are cheap and easy. Subframe sounds so appealing but is such a PITA, hard to justify that labor until more components need refreshing.
