There isn't a company out there that doesn't have bad reviews. I had a positive experience, sorry you had a negative one.

I know of a shop who he worked with and they ended up going their separate ways, and as much shit as the other person had to say about Jordan, he admitted that he is one hell of a tuner.

I also was there in person the other day when someone came in with a damaged motor after RK tuned i lt. the person was furious and it turns out the customer was doing pulls on his e85 map with only 93oct in the car, even when Jordan gave him a tablet to change tunes on the spot. It's people like that who don't share half of the story.

I don't think i would want a tune that cannot adjust for the e content like that. although e85 pumps should pump e85, most times it's +/- 70. what if you catch a bad batch of e?

People have been tuned for E85 way before flex fuel sensors and auto adjusting has been around. I'm not a tuner but I assume not having the car tuned on the ragged edge of E85 is how you tune it on pump E85.

Solid numbers. Can you speak the amount of fuel youre going thru with E85? Also does Jordan give you an other maps in case you want to mix your own?

I get probably 250-300 miles per tank. And yes you get whatever maps you want. 93,e85, burble, non burble, aggressive or mild on timing. Go to him and tell him Jason Giani sent you

250-300 miles per tank?! I got 180 miles on a full tank of e85 with Gintani. I calculated exactly as well, I put 16.9 gallons of e85 into my tank and I ran it down past 0 after that tank to fill back up with 91. You should calculate it next time with the trip odometer, electronic mpg is way off. I cant even get 250-300 with 91

250-300 is like extremely conservative driving on 93/91 for me. That doesn't sound right. Most of my averages are about 225-250. It'll be wishful thinking youd get at least 200 on E85. I like the idea that our system can take E85 without any upgrade on an NA motor unless you want the ability to not worry about flashing your DME. In which case a flex fuel kit is needed!

%100 E85 with flash only? No any other modification? Good luck running it I hope its safe to run in on a long term..

Correct. I know a lot of people who do it and have been running this way for a while now.

I filled up before I left and yesterday I drove to Westchester County.
I drove 73.4 miles yesterday and today I drove 75.5 miles. I am very little below a half a tank right now.

Wow that's really impressive, all highway? Mine is mixed highway and street with half normal driving and half redlining

There isn't anything detrimental to the system that would warrant long term reliability. If anything, upgrading the pump would be it if youre pushing that much more fuel thru? But even still if the stock is not maxed and within a safe operating range the pump will be fine!

Yea no kidding. I bet once on 50%+ throttle is where you'll see more fuel consumption.

Also if you look at the dyno plot, his tq is almost 25ft lbs more from peak tq ~3k to about 6k. More usable tq = less throttle input?

It was 75% highway and I hit traffic the whole way to Westchester yesterday.

For you guys running E85, the manual specifically states not to run anything beyond E10. How is this safe for the fuel system?

I am sure most of the cars would be ok with E40 blend but %100 E85 on long term for our cars? I guess we will watch and see. E85 is great for summer when its crazy hot and it helps a lot with cool down and octane rating is 105.

Interesting, I haven't seen that but I also haven't read the manual!

Is this safe to say on a stock DME? I think the hardware is fine and can candle it but tune wise, you'd run like crap?

Manufacturers started making fuel lines compatible a long time ago for Ethanol. I ran full E85 in my N54 for many years with no problems. Since E85 has lower AFR, you lambda targets need to be lower. So yes your car will run like crap without flashing a tune with the fuel tables adjusted for it.

Correct for E10 not E85. I think the jury is still out on the long term effects.
