WTB: Akrapovic Ti exhaust tips

Item Interest

I am hoping that someone has taken delivery of their Akrapovic exhaust tips, and then went on to purchase the (rather beautiful) carbon tips, or the polished tips, and as a result, have the original titanium tips lying around.

I LOVE my Akra exhaust, but it crushes me that they turn brown so quickly.

My idea is to keep one set clean and polished, and swap them out as needed.

If anyone can help me out, I'd be most appreciative!!

Why not clean/polish the original tips, then flame-broil them (or whatever it is called)? That way they'll turn a lovely shade of blue rather than the pedestrian brown.

Polished comes straight from akra so you wouldn't be able to do it only thing to do with the tips are powdercoat them

I had my titanium tips for 2 months and I can notice the color slightly changing. I might get the chrome ones instead, anyone got a link to site when I can buy them from?

I may be the only one... but this is what bothers me about the akra exhaust the most- the tips are hideous IMO

You mean the color or the titanium tips? You canalways get them replaced you know. I'll order the chrome ones very soon.

Regarding the tips...Can you see the clamps? If so, I'm not a fan. Also, is it really true that the titanium all turns brown after a few months?
