Nope. Once it's parked, it stays parked.
Otherwise that totally defeats the purpose of storing it. The roads are caked in salt and unless you're thoroughly rinsing your underbody after driving it, you just circumvented the entire purpose of winter storage. Not to mention just because it's dry, doesn't mean the temperatures are anywhere near adequate enough for a car with summer tires.

I never got around to storing the car because of the good weather. My winter car has been the one parked most days. Not complaining at all! |

I stored mine at a specialist garage. Cover on, battery tender, recent oil change (and any other maintenance required so that it was ready to go in spring), I had a set of 18" wheels and tires do that the 19" summers did not get flattened.
Always worked well. |

I would leave the battery in the car. Halfway through winter you can pull it out, take it upstairs to charge for a day and then put it back into the car

Thankfully I already found a garage to put my M3 inside over the winter, but my Suzuki GSX is another issue :/ I've been riding it for the last few weeks, but it's just too cold for a motorbike right now. Think a place like this would be a good idea for storing a bike? Never really used one of those before...

drive the absolute sh*t out of mine, and get it dirty. No joke. Hopefully I'll reach 235k kms by end of winter.

That said, your best bet is to get a self storage unit like the one you posted to store it for the winter. Otherwise, maybe ask a good friend that lives in a house if you can store it in their garage for a couple of months? |

Hope I don't speak too early, but judging by the weather next week we may get lucky and be able to pull the cars out of storage earlier rather than later. Let it rain!
